Colombia - Young Producer Lot
The Story
This Colombia Development Lot comes from Unblended’s Young Producer Program, a community-driven initiative focused on producers who have made a deliberate choice to build their future in coffee. This isn’t just about age. It’s about commitment, curiosity, and choosing passion over easier paths.
The lot brings together coffees from small farms across Antioquia, Quindío, and Huila, blended intentionally to create consistency, quality, and year-round availability while still reflecting the diversity of each origin. By pooling small producer volumes into a larger community lot, the program helps ensure economic stability and access to the market without sacrificing cup character.
Coffees are grown around 1,700 meters above sea level and harvested throughout the year. Each lot ranges from 200 to 4,000 kilograms and features classic Colombian varieties including Castillo, Caturra, and Colombia. The coffee is all processed alongside extended fermentation coffee from Sebastian Ramirez at his farm, El Placer.
This is a coffee rooted in shared learning, collective growth, and the belief that long-term investment in producers strengthens the future of coffee as a whole.
